These aren’t your grandmother’s
flower arrangements.
I have transitioned my large urban vegetable garden into an urban flower farm! For the longest time, I was feeling that I could not pursue my love of growing into anything other than a hobby. I kept looking for a farm so I could turn my passion into a business - and with the rising real estate market - buying a farm was just not in my reach. A shift in my thinking had me seeing my urban property differently. Why couldn’t I have an urban flower farm and still do what I love doing - but do it where I currently live rather than wishing I lived somewhere else so I could grow flowers?
I grow on a total of 980 square feet - my whole front yard, and half of my backyard. I am seeing if it is possible to have an urban flower garden that successfully grows and sells bouquets, flower arrangements and mason jar bouquets from May until October, growing as much as possible on my property. Grow with me and see if it is possible!
